Ten years from now, people will look back and consider the Halo franchise as a classic along with the likes of Mario, Metroid, Legend of Zelda etc. Yes, there are games out there that are perhaps technically superior in terms of graphics or whatnot, but none have captured the hearts of gamers everywhere as much as Halo has.

I agree, I remember when first finishing Halo 3 and my heart was pumping. It wasnt because of the level or the story bit was the music which was doing it.
