No need to, I’m running Ubuntu fully now
Yes, of course.
Yeah, VirtualBox has changed quite a bit since I posted this video. Now at version 3. x. If possible, could you specify where you’re having trouble? I will try to help out.
Thanks,
Mid
Hello
I would choose the 32-bit version of Ubuntu. For one, 1024MB would be easier to work with and some things such as Adobe Flash are a pain to install in the x64 version; not impossible, but not worth the hassle in a virtual machine.
I have Windows 7 Pro x64 so would downloading the 64bit version of Ubuntu 9. 10 be better off than the 32bit. I’ll only be giving it something like 1024MB RAM though.
The VirtualBox window doesn’t have the things in it your’s does. What do I do?
@TheBubakazouba change the resolution to 1280*1024 then it works
hi man that worked with me but i have problems in full screen mode when i press right ctrl + f (host+f) it turns to fullscreen but the window is still in samesize
If so, can i still use this method to install Ubuntu Ultimate Edition?
Can this run on Intel x64-bit chips?
Once i get to the “Try Ubuntu without any changes to your computer” screen, it freezes up and i cannot get passed it. I have tried again and again, i have pressed enter with the Host key toggled and untoggled. Someone please help.
my screen just went black between 99 and 100% help please
no do not unzip it!!! just boot it as is. leave the file alone when you download it from the internet! make sure you mount the iso from your HD.
Did you unzip the file. When I choose the iso from my desktop and start the virtualizatio, It says “FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted. ” This was done unzipped. Help!
