You will need to assign both computers to the same workgroup.
The easiest way to do this is to go to networkmagic.com and download the trial, This works the best i have copied all my files from my desktop to my laptop. You need to download the program to both laptops and a desktop if you have one. This will work! Also this will work for wireless printing too!
